  • What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?
  • What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?
  • What did I learn that could be used with my learners?
  • What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?

The WWW reflection/sharing time was useful in 2 ways. Firstly I got a few tips about how I might solve a problem I had with voice to text. I think this has a lot of potential for my students, and am keen to get it going smoothly. Secondly, I thought this process would be very useful to use in my class with the students. I have done similar things before, but for some reason I can't define the terminology of What worked, what didn't work, what do you need help with ? hit the spot with me. Additionally actually typing and sharing responses with each other at the same time was interesting and much more engaging for me than just talking which often leads to me losing focus. I have often struggled to get a really clear picture of exactly what the kids have learned, not learned and need help with, and this model could be another way of clarifying and deepening my understanding of the students learning from their perspective.

Some of the workflow tools appeared to be useful for me and may be helpful in streamlining some of the things I do. In particular Google Keep is a practical note taking system that is very quick to use.

  1. Afternoon Andrew, it was wonderful to meet you. Google keep saves me a lot of time as even once you have finished with a list you can untick and reuse the list to help check of items you need to cover/complete each term. Keep having a go. Tanya Mundy, https://tchingprofessional.blogspot.com/

  2. I am pleased you found our reflection process we call the "WWW" helpful. I think it brings shape and purpose to reflection for groups of all shapes and sizes and I agree, it could be super useful with your learners. Good to hear that you were able to find support within the group for your Voice Typing challenges too... I was hoping you would have shared those as I am interested!
Glad you like Keep- my favourite of all G Apps.
